Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to an Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as an Indian father and a Russian mother. When she was 11, she choreographed an act that gained her an appearance on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden that turns into an energetic Indian dancer. After graduating at New York's high school, she received her bachelor's degree in English degree at St. John's University. She took classes in acting in the HB Studios. She later went on to study improv comedy at The Groundlings School. She was born within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and a Russian-speaking mother Olga. The family moved to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she turned 13 and stars with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was her best-known role. The actress has a regular role in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
