Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor at WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became an anchor in the morning and a reporter for WCBD TV. When she was in Charleston O'Dell's reports regarding the police's lenient approach towards DUI cases led to the launch of a State Law Enforcement Division investigation that led to state authorities re-issuing an even more strict directive on these instances. According to the Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell the Best Report of the year award for every aspect of South Carolina media. O'Dell has worked in Charleston as a reporter, was a anchor at NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV station, before transferring over to Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent on weekends. O'Dell anchors the main newscast at Access Hollywood. In addition she has contributed to NBC News Today and Dateline NBC.
